Mission and Vision

Bannister Academy is a private, non-sectarian, secular, and co-educational school offering basic education for high school.

We envision having, as graduates, persons with character, competencies, and a sense of social responsibility.

We believe that any student disposed to learn is capable of receiving Bannister education. Hence, boys and girls, young men and women with both average and above average skills, demonstrating a disposition to learn in an academic community, are most welcome.

We endeavor to provide students with holistic, integral formation characterized by:

• Personal integrity, by which the student constantly strives towards excellence and overcomes his limitations in everything he does;
• Social orientation, by which he exercises personal responsibility along with a sincere spirit of service, especially towards those in most need in his immediate and wider community;
• Sound moral judgment, by which he is able to make good and responsible decisions in accordance with universal and permanent norms of conduct;
• Capacity for total learning, by which he is capable of appreciating and understanding himself and the world around him either by himself or with others;
• Fluency in communication, by which he is able to express his thoughts in speech and writing and understand others through reading and listening; and
• Unity of life and respect for others, by which he conducts himself with the same criteria at home, in school, with his friends, and with the rest of society.
